Mission

It is our hope to have a C1 Squirt World championship event this summer in Sort, Spain.

As part of the standard team size there are 3 Squirt C1 Place allocated, but due to the high degree of specialism in using a C1 squirt (as well as the distinct lack of people who own them), nations infrequently select for them during normal selection process or events.

Do you have a C1 squirt and are planning to go to the World Championships this summer in Sort, Spain. Will you be paddling in another category, maybe OC1 or DC1, bring you squirt with you and we will convince the organizers that there are sufficient numbers for a demo event if nothing else.

For a category to be officially recognized it needs to meet  the following criteria:

•       To be considered an official class there must be a minimum of 8 paddlers from at least 4 different countries.

GBR will have two paddlers Rob Dixon & Jamie Burbeck, we know there are other paddlers around the world, some in Germany, France, Canada, USA and Japan or at least these are the ones we are aware of, there must be more.
